Join us in our mission to help every child and young person make positive choices about the things that matter most.
What we teach in the classroom will help shape our pupils’ aspirations, goals and values. Attributes that last a lifetime.
With this in mind, PSHE isn’t just another school subject. It’s a chance to give every child and young person an equal opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge they need to make positive choices.
We’re here to help your school build a PSHE curriculum that responds to the present. It’s our goal to meet the needs of every child and young person and the critical issues they face every day. Issues such as friendships, emotional wellbeing and change.
It’s our responsibility to help them feel connected and able to explore their experiences safely.
PSHE education is also about the future. It’s our opportunity to give the next generation a toolkit of life skills, so they can face a world full of uncertainty with hope.
From making responsible decisions about alcohol to succeeding in their first job, PSHE education helps pupils prepare for all the opportunities, challenges and responsibilities they’ll face growing up.
It will also help them develop skills and aptitudes like teamwork, communication, and resilience. Essential for success in the workplace and in their communities.
Providing a child with a good PSHE education will inspire them to make thoughtful and informed life decisions. It will give them a safety net as they navigate relationships, careers, health and wellbeing.
From September 2020, the government recognised the importance of PSHE education and made fundamental elements of it mandatory. But we believe a comprehensive PSHE curriculum should go beyond what’s statutory to help prepare pupils for living in modern Britain.
A growing body of research shows that emotionally healthy pupils do better at school. PSHE education helps children and young people achieve their academic potential by supporting their wellbeing and exploring issues that can improve their ability to learn.
Pupils agree that PSHE is a vital part of their education too. 92% believe all young people should receive high-quality PSHE lessons.
90% of parents polled by YouGov also support teaching PSHE education.
So let’s make an impact on our children and young people’s future today,
